V & A Waterfront in Cape Town

SO….We visited the V & A Waterfront in Cape Town!
CAPE TOWN Table Mountain provides a majestic backdrop to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa.
CAPE TOWN During the early 1990’s, the Waterfront in Cape Town was redeveloped and the old harbour was transformed into the city’s most vibrant attraction. The old Alfred and Victoria basins, named after Prince Alfred & Queen Victoria, forms the center of the development.

Informative “Story Boards” placed at strategic places, provides an insight to the history of the harbour.
CAPE TOWN The main features of the V & A Waterfront are: The Victoria Wharf Shopping Mall, Craft Markets, a large number of restaurants and pubs, live entertainment, a working brewery…
CAPE TOWN Two Oceans Aquarium, Museums, an amphitheater, cinemas including the giant-screen Imax, guided walks and boat trips around the harbour.
